High-Performance Tubing for the Real World
A cooling system is only as reliable as its tubing. That is why Cooler Master uses a hybrid compound made from EPDM and IIR. This combination delivers outstanding durability in the face of heat, moisture, and physical stress.
• Thermal and Aging Resistance: EPDM resists heat, ozone, and UV radiation. It does not degrade or become brittle over time, making it ideal for PC builds and servers.
• Sealing and Vapor Control: IIR provides exceptional sealing against vapor loss and coolant evaporation. This helps maintain internal pressure and reduces the need for regular refills.
• Flex Performance: The inner braided structure distributes stress during bending. The tube can handle thousands of flex cycles without cracking or leaking.
This tubing is designed to perform in tight installations, high-pressure environments, and systems that run nonstop.
Coolant That Protects Your Investment
Cooler Master’s coolant is an automotive-grade, alcohol-based formulation that complies with major global standards including ASTM D3306 and SAE J1043. It provides:
• Corrosion Protection: The formula prevents galvanic corrosion between mixed-metal parts, such as copper cold plates and aluminum radiators.
• Thermal Efficiency: Organic acid and inorganic salt additives promote heat transfer while resisting scale buildup and sediment formation.
• Lubricity Enhancers: The coolant includes agents that reduce wear inside the pump and improve overall longevity.
This coolant is chosen not only for performance but for reliability in shipping, storage, and varying temperature conditions across the globe.
Tested and Trusted
Cooler Master validates every cooler through extended reliability testing using representative samples from pre-mass production. Pump assemblies and radiators are subjected to a 2,000-hour continuous high-temperature endurance tests at 88°C. Each sample is fully disassembled and inspected to pass the following:
• Radiators: No internal discoloration, crystallization or oxidation at weld joints.
• PPS composite chambers: No deformation, cracking or material corrosion.
• Copper cold plate and fins: No darkening, rust or particulate residue.
• EPDM seals and tubing: No material breakdown, flaking or loss of elasticity.
• Impeller assembly: No warping, deformation or signs of material fatigue.
These tests are part of Cooler Master’s standard quality control process, which includes dimensional checks, pressure tests, and leak detection during production and in post-production sampling. The results confirm that the system maintains structural integrity and operational performance even under prolonged thermal stress, ensuring consistent reliability in real-world use.
